The Crisis – Festivals and What Not
October 5th, 2009
So I’m just finishing the last few edits on the film today and then we’re sending it off to Slamdance. We missed the deadline for Sundance, which was a bummer, but with the extra time this afforded me to edit, we’ve made a lot of great changes and I think we’ve managed to make a better film. Hopefully, with a little luck we’ll get in to Slamdance and do well enough that we can get a few going on the film front. I’d like to put together a feature and apply for some grants. Also, it would be cool to hit a couple of the other big film festivals next year such as Caan and the New York and Toronto Film Festivals. I’m not sure what we’re capable of yet on the distribution end of a short film, but I’ll let you know as things develop.
Also, with things as hectic as they’ve been, I haven’t been able to put a trailer together, but we’ll see what we can get done in the next couple of weeks.
